Privacy policy

Last updated October 14, 2026

Persistent Player ("we," "us") helps high school athletes and their families with college sports recruiting. This policy explains what we collect when you use persistentplayer.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

How we use it

Text messages

If you opt in, we may send up to 4 recruiting tips and updates a month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop at any time, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never required to get a snapshot or buy anything. We do not share your mobile number or text opt-in with third parties for their marketing.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Persistent Player, such as our form, spreadsheet, automation, AI, email and texting tools, and only so they can do that work for us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Athletes under 18

Our service is meant for parents and guardians acting for their athletes, and for athletes who share information with a parent's knowledge. We always send snapshots to a parent or guardian email. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information, email us and we will delete it.

Your choices

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your athlete is in the recruiting process and for up to two years after their grad year, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Security

We use reputable service providers and limit access to the people who need it. No online system is perfectly secure, so please don't share sensitive information like Social Security numbers in our form.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
